Around The NCAA

Plenty of top-25 upsets in college basketball Saturday night. Here's a short recap:
  • Arizona State knocked out #17 Xavier, 77-55. ASU Freshmen Abbot and Harden combined for 35 points.
  • Nebraska managed to beat #16 Oregon in OT, 88-79. The Cornhuskers forces 18 turnovers while only committing 7.
  • Congratulations to Purdue for taking out #20 Louisville, 67-59. After close games with Clemson and Missouri earlier in the season, they were able to get their first big win of the season.
Also in Big Ten action:
  • Ohio State pummeled Presbyterian, 87-43. Kosta Koufus had 21 points on 8-9 FG.
  • Penn State beat Denver, 60-39. Geary Claxton is averaging 19 points and 9 rebounds this season.
  • Central Michigan defeated Michigan, 78-67.
  • Michigan State got their 9th win against IPFW, 79-57.
  • Indiana rolled over Western Carolina, 100-52. It was Freshman sensation Eric Gordon's first game back from injury, and he led the Hoosiers with 26 points.
